I think before we rush to judgment, we should give the legal system time to sort the facts, and bring him to trial before a jury of his peers.

Go with baseball... A kid can show up with a glove and be ready to go... Football requires more stuff more practice more agravation from "my kid should be quarterback parents", and less injuries.... Plus baseball you usually are playing at the same nearby field...

Any variation to the Wishbone offense works amazingly well in youth football. The two years I played, we were the only team in the league using a Wishbone, and we were undefeated both years. When you have two backs and seven lineman blocking for one guy, it works very well. A good website to view is http://members.aol.com/onscreen88/wishbone.html
It's fairly easy for some of the younger kids to run, mainly because it's so simple

I have coached youth football for the past several years. My favorite present is a nice (about $25) running football player statuette trophy, engraved with a thank you to me by name, the team name and year. The trophy is nice enough to have an important spot on my mantle, and it brings back great memories. It sits right next to my second favorite gift, a nicely framed team photo neatly autographed by the boys.
